રાજ્યમાં ઔદ્યોગિકવિકાસ હેતુસર તથા ઉદ્યોગકારોની સરળતા માટે રાજ્ય કક્ષાએ રાજ્ય સરકાર હસ્તક કચેરીઓ તથા બોર્ડ/કોર્પોરેશન એકબીજા સાથે સંકલનમાં રહી કામ કરી શકે તથા ઉદ્યોગકારોને એક જ સ્થળે ઉદ્યોગો માટે જરૂર હોય તેવી સર્વે કચેરીનું કામકાજ એક જ સંકુંલમાં થઇ શકે તે હેતુસર રાજ્ય સરકાર દ્વારા વર્ષ ૧૯૯૨ માં ઉદ્યોગ ભવનું નિર્માણ કરવામાં આવ્યુ છે. ઉદ્યોગ ભવનને સ્થાપિત થયે લગભગ ૨૦ વર્ષ થઇ ગયેલ હોઇ ઉદ્યોગ ભવન સંકુંલની લીફ્ટ , ગટર વ્યવસ્થા , પાણી વ્યવસ્થા , પાર્કીંગ , રોડ-રસ્તા તથા બાગ બગીચા , ઇલેક્ટ્રીફીકેશન જેવુ કામ કરવામાં આવ્યુ છે.

Constructed in 1992 by the Road and Building Department under the Government of Gujarat, routine maintenance activity is essential to ensure longevity of the complex.

To meet infrastructure needs of all State Level Offices of the various departments of the Government of Gujarat, The Udhyog Bhavan Society is responsible for renovation and upgradation of services such as: Entrance gate, security systems, Drainage, Drinking water, Roads, Painting, Landscaping, and expansion of parking facility.
